"WHY MOST BELIEVERS ARE BIND" Why The Spiritual Religious Elites Will Keep On Deceiving The Masses. Religion is a process between Shortsightedness and Vision, Anarchy and Due Process. Sometimes, those with sights does not see.

As I write this piece,  and as a spiritual and occult profesional, I am writing it with all sense of humility and responsibility. We must separate the cubs from the lambs before we ends up rearing lions as domestic animals in our homes. mind is troubled by many questions which require immediate answers. First, is being a pastor a full-time occupation? I know of a few genuine men of God who are lawyers, engineers, lecturers, estate managers, bankers and medical doctors. These kinds of pastors pursue a profitable venture while also preaching the gospel. Yet there are those who do nothing other than search the scriptures for phrases that will convince people to part with their money. It is a case of clear ignorance on the part of the people who allow themselves to be deceived with all manner of religious sophism and sham. Is the worship of God based on monetary capacity where those who pay huge amount as tithes are recognized and given the front seats in churches? Is God impressed by this display of ostentation and obscenity that is pervading the churches all over the country?

Tragically, the church is no longer concerned about the source of the wealth of members provided they remit a hefty sum of it to the church coffers. Armed robbers, prostitutes, kidnappers, drug traffickers, importers of fake goods, smugglers, certified political and economic thieves are all welcomed in the church of God, provided they come with huge money. It is indeed a big shame.

"And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." John 8 vs 32.
There's a saying that those who fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it. John 8 continues the account of Jesus' debate with the Pharisees after the Feast of Tabernacles, which began in the previous chapter.

In John 8:12, Jesus describes himself as "the light of the world" and the Pharisees didn't like this. 

Do you know why?
The Pharisees were the pastors of ancient times but calling them pastors undermines the kind of power and influence they had. 

They were at various times a political party, a social movement, and a school of thought in the Holy Land during the time of Second Temple Judaism. After the destruction of the Second Temple in 70 CE, Pharisaic beliefs became the foundational, liturgical and ritualistic basis for Judaism.

In simpler words, the Pharisees were a powerful force to be reckoned with as they controlled religious practices and political activities of the Jews. 

But the Pharisees were humans and man by nature is corruptible. The Pharisees made themselves the gods of the day and declared themselves the supreme authority on spiritual matters. The Jews had to strictly adhere to their teachings and instructions in order to be right with God but the coming of Jesus Christ changed all of that. 

The Pharisees didn't like how Jesus declared himself as the son of God and they were also worried about how people were quickly abandoning them to listen to the teachings of Jesus. 

They tried to test him publicly by bringing a woman accused of adultery to him and asked him to judge her according to the law of Moses which instructed that adulterers be stoned to death. Jesus responded by saying "He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her". You know the rest of the story. 

Jesus then tells his followers in vs 32 that they have to know the truth for themselves, this implies that Jesus was admonishing them to seek out God individually and attain a personal relationship with him. 

How well do Christians of today fare in this regard? Very poorly. 

Today, we have Christians who look up to their charismatic pastors to teach them EVERYTHING regarding God. The Pharisees of old and Pastors of today have something in common. They are human and humans are easily corruptible. 

Ask yourself when last your pastor preached about the importance of developing a personal relationship with God or rapture and then ask yourself when last your pastor preached about how "sowing a seed" will bring more blessings your way. 

In most cases, you will see that the latter is more rampant than the former. 

We have even gotten to the point where some Christians worship their pastors more than God. The same way the Pharisees were seen as the sole authority on all things spiritual is how Christians of today view their pastors. 

In reality, the bible clearly states that ALL who receive Christ will receive the power of God. 

This can be seen in John 1 vs 12 "...But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name"

Pastors will continue to deceive/mislead Christians because Christians have not bothered to study the word of God for themselves. 

They don't know the truth and their ignorance will make them prisoners to their Pastors. 

When your Pastor can even lie to himself and even God, who are you?
